I've written a great deal of text about each of the pieces on my two solo percussion albums.  This “directed listening” feature is intended to act as an accompanying guide to help you navigate my music.  I find it helps to assist the listener in pointing out aspects within the pieces that you may not hear upon first or even fifth hearing.  Unearthing certain time signatures, rhythms or themes can help the listener digest the music better, hone in on certain parts and have a deeper appreciation.  I even touch on the meanings behind the titles.
